We will withdraw the proposal for amendments to the law on the Constitutional Court from the procedure, because it did not receive the necessary approval from the Legislative Committee, announced the head of the parliamentary group in the Assembly of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), Slaven Radunović.
"As a parliamentary majority, we have agreed that the same problem we tried to solve by amending the existing law, regulated in an alternative way, which will be fully harmonized with the Constitution and laws and as such acceptable both to the majority of colleagues from the Parliament and to our international partners". stated Radunović.
He concluded that in this way they prove "that as a responsible government we respect the letter of the law, unlike the former regime that the parliament used to impose its absolutist ideas".
