Prime Minister Milojko Spajić said yesterday at the session of the European Parliament's foreign policy committee that Russian influence has never been less in Montenegro, which made the Russian intelligence services burst out laughing, the Citizens' Initiative (GI) announced on May 21.
They added that in doing so, he kept silent about remarks against the President of the Parliament of Montenegro and the leader of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), Andrija Mandić, and, as they said, his Great Serbian policies through which official Moscow operates in the Balkans.
"All that remains is for him to finish the announced reconstruction of the Government, so he will see for himself what the 'miniature' influence of Putin on Montenegrin state politics looks like. By the way, let him continue with the compromising activities of his officials and he will additionally 'strengthen' the pro-European policy. For example, let his minister Gorčević continues to seek support from Orban's Hungary, which is the most hated member of the EU and at the same time a notorious advocate of Russian interests and a notorious supporter of Vučić's anti-European policy. with the admission of Kosovo to the Council of Europe. Not to mention the Srep Orthodox Church (SPC), which brought Spajić to power, and anyone who knows anything about that church knows that Russian intelligence agents work most productively through Serbian bishops and priests. GI May 21.
They said that instead of Spajić "telling fairy tales, while knowing that the so-called Ibar cannot deliver, he should openly say that he hopes that Brussels will see through our fingers because of its foreign policy interests".
"We also hope that the European leaders will push Montenegro towards the EU, just as we know that this depends at least on the 'merits' of the Spajić government," the GI statement on May 21 concluded.
