Since the citizens of Pljevlja were deprived of the television broadcast of the last session of the Municipal Assembly (SO) of Pljevlja, when the report on the work of the president, societies and institutions founded by the Municipality of Pljevlja was on the agenda, due to the fact that the representatives of the local government are headed by the Democratic Party Socialists (DPS) requested that the session not be broadcast, ashamed of their poor results, Democratic candidates for councilors in the Municipal Council of Pljevlja reminded the citizens of the pre-election fantasies of the outgoing local government, it was announced tonight from Democratic Montenegro.
Nikola Rovčanin and Bojan Krvavac, Democrat candidates for councilors in Pljevlja Municipal Council, spoke at the press.
"An eternal topic that DPS constantly exploits in every election cycle for decades is heating," Rovčanin pointed out.
"Through this, we want to tell the citizens of Pljevlja that the heating of the city will not even start, let alone finish, as long as the DPS is in power. There is also the Second Block of the Thermal Power Plant. Let's remember when, on the eve of the parliamentary elections in 2016, Milo Đukanović announced in Pljevlja that in September of the same year, the construction of the Second Block of the Thermal Power Plant will begin. So far, not a single block, nor a foundation stone, has been laid. It is clear to everyone that this is only a pre-election investment that was intended to be sold to the citizens of Pljevlja, would anyone not believe in that. Also, the airport project is met with a broad smile by all the citizens of Pljevlja, as another in a series of DPS pre-election phantasmagorias. Since the planned airport has been announced for many years, we expect that DPS will raise the issue of establishing a nuclear power plant before these elections, since from the Second Block of the Thermal Power Plant now there is certainly nothing," Rovčanin added.
He also pointed out that the Cultural Center in Pljevlje, whose opening has been announced for the last 11 years, is a mirror of the DPS authorities.
"And this year, when it finally and ceremoniously opens, it is immediately ripe for a new reconstruction. The faded facade, the problem with the roof covering and the outdated external appearance require additional interventions on the building itself. Thanks to DPS, 11 generations of Pljevlja residents did not have the opportunity to regularly watch cinema screenings, theater performances. During all that time, the library was moved to the outskirts of the city, as well as the museum. Pljevlja is one of the few cities that does not have not only a city swimming pool, but also does not have a single organized swimming pool. Not one of the large economic entities that have made billions of profits on Pljeval soil, he did not find it appropriate to build a swimming pool, pave the street, let alone build a building of social standard. Also, in recent years, DPS firmly promised the citizens a ski resort, but as we can see, even that investment was not realized." said Rovcanin.
He also referred to Toplan.
"The outgoing president of the municipality of Pljevlja announced that he will consider the current government unsuccessful if they do not implement three projects: the heating plant, the reconstruction of the main street and the reconstruction of the "Pliješ" water treatment plant. None of the three projects were implemented. So they evaluated themselves" , Rovčanin said.
Finally, he mentioned the following comparative indicators:
"Before DPS there were 12.000 employees in Pljevlja, today there are about 6.000 employees, before DPS the forests were from Pljevlja, today the forests are from tycoons, before DPS the ores were from Pljevlja, today the ores are from tycoons, before DPS there were over 20 factories are active, today they are all closed, before DPS Pljevlja mass-produced cement, bricks, textiles, meat, military equipment... today we don't even have a final product made of wood, before DPS the municipality was debt-free, after The municipality owes DPS 20.000.000 euros," Rovčanin said.
Krvavac announced that a local self-government has not experienced such a political slap from the Government of Montenegro for a long time, as it was in the case of the suspension of the payment of the eco fee of Prime Minister Marković to the Municipality of Pljevlja.
"As long as this government is in power, the polluters will be in a privileged position, while the citizens of Pljevlja will suffocate in the ashes and smoke of their financial interests," said Krvavac.
He then turned to the Academic Center.
"Since Mr. Đačić (Mirko Đačić - President of the Municipality of Pljevlja) on May 23.5.2014, XNUMX, on the eve of the previous local elections, glorified the Academic Center project as one of the best local self-government projects, it seems unreal to the average observer that just a few years later the same Academic Center will be closed by the administration of Mr. Đačić. Since his party colleagues made an incredible financial construction, according to which the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Pljevlja is one of the few that are financed by the local self-government, on this occasion we ask Mr. Đačić: what about the good connection with the Government of Montenegro that promised, who remained silent when the faculty was closed?" said Krvavac.
He added that one of the key distinguishing features of "the now outgoing DPS administration in the previous mandate was the brutal abuse of the acting institute, with which Đačić tried to cheat the law and the administrative inspection".
"The Pljeval administration is one of the few that did not fully constitute itself by the end of the mandate, but instead resorted to political rewards for persons who were legally convicted of buying votes in the Snimak affair, through the acting institute. The Pljeval local administration is one of the most responsible in Montenegro." , said the Bloodsucker.
He also presented the performance of the current government through several items:
"The number of new jobs is 0, the number of investors is 0, the percentage of the unemployed has increased, the number of displaced persons has increased, the prices of communal services have increased, new taxes and charges have been introduced for citizens," concluded Krvavac.
