With a semi-comic attempt to attribute political inferiority to the President of the Capital Assembly, Jelena Borovinić Bojović, DPS councilor Stefan Ćulafić actually described all the political inferiority of his party, with which DPS voters are increasingly dissatisfied, said Stefan Vešović, councilor for Prava Montenegro in Assembly of the Capital City.
"New/old propaganda calls from the DPS against the President of the Capital City Assembly, this time signed by councilor Ćulafić, confirmed the confusion and political despair in the Podgorica DPS. While some DPS councilors publicly claim that the mayor is in the shadows President of the Assembly, and that Borovinić Bojović is the actual head of the majority, councilor Ćulafić attributes to her political inferiority compared to Mayor Injac.
It is obvious that the DPS has long since not cared about the logic of their own positions, just as they have not cared about the needs of the citizens. Or they are simply close to the twists and turns of Latin TV soap operas. In any case, whichever of these two mentioned narratives is chosen in the end - it doesn't matter, because both are dry platitudes," said Vešović in a statement sent to the media.
The member of Prava Montenegro added that now the DPS sounds like an orchestra whose music the citizens are not interested in because, as he said, it does not correspond to their needs.
"It is similar to the other criticisms from the DPS, because they do not come as a result of citizens' problems, but are only the result of the DPS's anger that they are no longer in power after 30 years," Vešović assessed.
He said that the city parliament, headed by Speaker Borovinić Bojović, has in a short time become "a true house of democracy where we councilors work with her at full intensity".
"With a half-comic attempt to attribute political inferiority to the President of the Assembly, the councilor Ćulafić actually described the entire political inferiority of his party, with which the voters of DPS are increasingly dissatisfied. That is why, in the end, I am conveying a message to the citizens of Podgorica: instead of idle intrigues, take and work something for the interest of Podgorica. Try it, it's nice," concluded Vešović.
