Since Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced yesterday in front of the entire Montenegrin public that he will submit the Resolution on the Genocide in Jasenovac, I publicly invite him to submit the proposal for the Resolution on the Genocide by next Friday, so that the Genocide against the Serbian, Jewish and Roma people in Jasenovac can be condemned by abbreviated procedure in the Assembly , said the president of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Milan Knežević.
"Given that the genocide in Jasenovac does not require doing any additional research, consulting experts, that the figures of at least 700 murdered Serbs, Jews and Roma are true, inexorable and horrifying, I believe that there is enough time for the Resolution on the Genocide in Jasenovac and officially formalizes," said Knežević.
He emphasized that he will not accept any, as he said, Sintkasian stunts and the intention that the genocide in Jasenovac "suddenly turns into forced swimming in the Sava and random hangings on willows. There are too many of our dead underground to turn their bones every day with resolutions for single use."
"So, here is an opportunity for Prime Minister Spajić to keep his publicly given word, and show that he has the same attitude towards the suffering of the Serbian people, by submitting to the Assembly a proposal for a Resolution on genocide, and not on the crime in Jasenovac," he added.
Knežević assessed that, as he said, he would like to be wrong, "and God is my witness for that, but I am afraid that Prime Minister Spajić will still not submit the Resolution on Genocide, and I beg him to do so, not because of me, but because of the Serbian people, without whose support neither Jakov Milatović nor he would have become what they are."
