PES: The decision that usurps the kindergarten was signed in the twilight of Abazović's Government, the Democrats attribute responsibility to the Government of which they are a part

The local list of Democrats from Budva, i.e. their candidates on the board list, "calculating and unfoundedly manipulate" the competences and actions of the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property, announced the Budva committee of the Europe Now Movement (PES).

"In the wake of the negativity that the campaign exudes, underestimating its fellow citizens, the solution that usurps the kindergarten was signed in the twilight of Abazović's government, and now the Democrats attribute responsibility to the government in which they participate," the announcement states.

They state that the decision, which allowed construction near the kindergarten, was signed by State Architect Vladan Stevović on May 10, 2023, "20 days before the election of Milojko Spajić's government."

"For the sake of truth, the decisions of April 3 and 22, 2024, signed by Srđan Gregović, acting secretary of the Secretariat for Communal and Housing Affairs of the Municipality of Budva, take away the access road and provide for the demolition of the fence of the kindergarten 'Ljubica Jovanović - Maša'. Therefore, the Municipality of Budva and its secretariats are the ones who took the children's peace", states the PES from Budva and adds:

"Not only is it incorrect to claim that the line ministry approved the construction application and approved the investor's construction, but this falsehood is best refuted by the publicly available solution that prohibits construction because the investor's construction application is full of defects."

They say that in this way, the Government headed by Spajić is "correcting the injustice and blundering from mistake to mistake of this local self-government that brought itself to the point of introducing forced administration."

"Due to the lack of a vision for the development of Budva, the Democrats are trying to gather the votes of the people of Budva in this way and through the incorrect attack of PES, but such a campaign is certainly not in the interest of our fellow citizens," it concludes.
