The stability and progress of Montenegro both this year and in the following years will solely depend on the dynamics of joining the European Union, announced the Citizens' Initiative "May 21".
That is why, as they said, it is of crucial importance that the public's persuasive affection for joining the EU is translated into the most massive and active social support for pro-European politics.
"At the same time, regardless of the fact that such parliamentary parties are a noose around the neck of the prosperity of Montenegrin society, every decision that means a step closer to the EU should be supported. At the same time, those parties that are easily recognized as notorious servants of anti-European policies, such as those of Mandić, Knežević or Joković parties, should be debunked daily as opponents of the pro-Western Montenegro. This group of Vučić's followers, who would make Montenegro a deranged clerical-nationalist province in the possession of anti-European Serbia, must be marginalized. It is important that Mandić's insidious and harmful nationalist constructions be rejected make a mockery, just as it is important that the slovenly Spajić and his "allies" from the dugouts understand their current political position. They should understand that the EU and Vučić's Serbia do not go together, nor does the "Serbian world" have a place in the EU, nor is it "The so-called 'reconstruction of the government' is anything other than undermining the pro-European policy. Just as cooperation or tying up with the opponents of the Resolution on Srebrenica is solely in the interest of politics that does not want to see Montenegro in the EU," the statement said.
