The holder of the electoral list of the Citizens' Group "For the Future of Our Children" in the elections in Andrijevica, Ivan Radojević, he said that they are an alternative for a better future of the city, which will take care of the citizens, because the traditional political parties have proven themselves and shown that they leave lasting consequences that will require time and personnel to rehabilitate.
Radojević told "Vijesta" that they offer sustainable economic development of Andrijevica, which is based on realistic projections and needs of citizens.
"It is the idea that brought us together with the aim of starting the wheel of development and presenting ourselves in the best possible light for this city. The group of citizens is made up of family friendly people who, with their work and experience, can bear the burden of economic stagnation and the departure of the population from Andrijevica", pointed out Radojević.
He said that the Citizens' Group he leads will face all the challenges that have brought Andrijevica to the margins of economic underdevelopment and a place where there are no living conditions:
"Andrijevica has exceptional water, tourist, agricultural and mountain potential, but it has not been used".
Radojević emphasized that the main problems in Andrijevica are economic stagnation, the departure of the population, underdeveloped infrastructure, insufficiently equipped schools and health institutions, problems with environmental pollution, insufficiently developed tourist infrastructure and the promotion of tourist potential, as well as the lack of cultural and sports content and programs.
He pointed out that in the election campaign they are mostly focused on the promotion of the program.
"We want to reach every home in Andrijevica so that everyone can become familiar with the offer of the citizens' group 'For the future of our children.' We have a lot of volunteers and the community supports us, we talk to everyone and hope for a good result".
If they win the elections, Radojević states that for the first time the Municipal Assembly of Andrijevica would pass development decisions that will attract the attention of micro and small businesses to carry out their activities in the city.
"It will be sustainable support in a full package of measures combined with financial support for a longer period of time. We will improve the quality of utility services and introduce new services, and that is all available to us and does not have to be waited for or delayed."
He pointed out that they worked on the program in cooperation with the non-governmental and business sector and that they believe that based on such foundations and the information they received from the field, they can make major changes in Andrijevica in the next mandate.
"In the second half of 2024, we will deal with various analyzes of the unemployed, the employed, and the economic sector - all with the intention of obtaining inputs for further development moves. We will use the second half of 2024 for the preparation of capital projects that we will request for financing from the capital budget for 2025, 2026".
He pointed out that they would talk to all parties that have quality and sustainable programs for the development of Andrijevica regarding the formation of possible post-election coalitions.
