MUP: 3.827 voters have the right to vote in the local elections in Andrijevica

A total of 3.827 voters have the right to vote in the local elections in Andrijevica, which are scheduled for Sunday, June 2 this year, the Ministry of the Interior (MUP) announced.

"The number of voters in the voter list in the municipality of Andrijevica, according to which the previous elections were held on June 11, 2023, is 3.850. The number of voters in the closed voter list for local elections in the municipality of Andrijevica on May 22, 2024 is 3.827," it is emphasized. in the statement of the MUP.

They added that the voter can inspect the voter list in person, at the counters of the Branch for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners in Andrijevic, every working day (from Monday to Friday) from 14:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., with a valid ID card or travel document (passport ).

"The branch for administrative affairs, citizenship and foreigners in Andrijevic, during the elections, i.e. on Sunday, June 2, 2024, will work from 20:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., so that citizens will be able to collect identification documents, for which they submitted the request for issuance in the previous period," the announcement reads.

The MUP said that the voter can inspect the voter's list directly and through the internet portal www.biraci.me.

"On that portal, by entering the number of an ID card or travel document, a citizen can check whether he is on the voter list and at which polling station he is voting," said the MUP.

The government department said that voters who have an electronic identity card issued after March 30, 2020, can view the voter list directly and via the internet portal. https://e.servis.mup.gov.me, using the electronic identification certificate embedded in the electronic identity card.

"Please note that in order for a citizen to be able to inspect the voter list in the manner described, it is necessary to activate the certificate in the electronic identity card beforehand. Instructions on how to activate the certificate can be found on the website https://ca.elk.gov.me", said the MUP.

They also state that on the eve of the aforementioned elections, the MUP created a call center with the unique number 19820.

"By calling this number and communicating personal data (name and surname, date of birth and parents' name) or a unique identification number, the citizen will receive information from the operator on whether he is registered in the voter list and at which polling station he is voting. The unique number is 19820 free of charge and available to all users of mobile and fixed telephony in Montenegro. that is, on Friday, May 24 and Saturday, June 15, they will work from 31:1 a.m. to 20:2 p.m., while on Sunday, June 20, i.e., the day of the elections, they will work from XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.," the MUP statement concludes.
