Mandić concluded that it is important to pass a law on the Assembly, the legal team of the cabinet is working diligently on the draft proposal.
He added that this law must be adopted together with the law on the Government so that these two key legal acts do not collide.
When it comes to the preliminary recommendations given by the ODIHR expert team, Mandić is reported to have said that at the next collegium, he will open the topic of implementation of those recommendations.
Members of the delegation of the ODIHR expert team said that the meeting was a clear sign of Mandić's commitment to reforms.
The Assembly said that the ODIHR expert team pointed out that the existing legal framework is extremely good, but that there is always room for improvement, and in that context presented a preliminary opinion on it.
