The parties and lists that won the parliamentary elections on August 30, 2020 won 19 seats in the local elections in Andrijevica, and the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) won 11, announced the leader of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) Vladimir Joković.
"DPS was defeated and has only 11 mandates. The coalition of the SNP and the Democrats has eight council mandates, the Europe Movement now has four, the Coalition for the Future of Montenegro three, one citizen's list three, and the other one mandate," announced Joković.

Joković said that he expects that their candidate will again be the mayor of Andrijevica, but that he does not expect that their coalition will get an absolute majority.
Joković said that for them, cooperation with everyone except the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) is acceptable, and the most acceptable are those who are in power with them at the state level.

He said that they were satisfied with the result and called on everyone who won the elections on August 30 to immediately start talks and form a stable majority, respecting the will of the citizens of Andrijevica.
"I believe that we will form a majority and that we will have a stable government in Andrijevica in the next four years," Joković told reporters in front of the election headquarters.
He added that he believes that DPS will not return to power anywhere in Montenegro, especially not in Andrijevica.
"Even before the preliminary results, I said that we will not form the government with DPS alone, that the backbone should be those who exercise power at the state level, along with two civil lists," said Joković.
"After these elections, a stable majority will be formed in Andrijevica. I am satisfied with the turnout, but also with the fact that the elections were held without tensions," said Joković.
When asked whether they will create special councilor clubs or jointly with Democratic Montenegro, Joković said that they will discuss this later, but that both scenarios are acceptable for them.
