It was announced from DPS that at the Municipal Election Conference, DPS Mojkovac elected jmembers of the Municipal Board, and Živković opened the conference.
The announcement states that Živković "praised the dedicated work and exceptional efforts of DPS activists in this city".
"The way you set things up in Mojkovac and the way you work is a real example of how other municipal committees should behave, and that's why I especially want to emphasize how important your role is in the life of our party. Work, dynamics, attitude towards politics, values and work that obligates us and makes us responsible for our lives, descendants and the future is the way to achieve good election results. You are a real example of that," Živković pointed out.
He said that key changes are taking place within the DPS, which will ultimately contribute to the strengthening of the DPS and the return to power.
"We are working diligently, we visited Montenegro several times since the beginning of the year, we decided to directly elect the party leadership at the state and local level, which is the first time that such a thing has been done in Montenegro, and the election of municipal committees will follow. change of government, our return to power and the end of a bad period in the life of Montenegro, we need to invest a lot of effort, effort and work. to justify the trust of the citizens, which was proven in all previously held local elections," said Živković.
He said that it is extremely important to choose the right representation of people who will represent the DPS, because, as he said, that party has always been recognized for the quality of its staff and people.
"That is why we are restoring the trust of the voting public today. Without the politics of the DPS, there is no prosperity for Montenegro. We let our political dissidents exercise power for four years to prove it. In the position of power today, you have those who make decisions based on blackmail, fraud, This is not a healthy policy. That is not the way to prosperity. You cannot hold the public interest as a hostage to your politics four years in the opposition. The backbone of the state-building parties, among which the DPS is the strongest, cannot be placed in the context of the defense of national interests.
He said that the DPS is expecting local elections in Kotor, Gusinje, in a few months in Podgorica, and that these are the challenges that await the politics of the DPS and, finally, extraordinary parliamentary elections.
"Our political opponents are in a coalition with the nationalists who suffocate them every day, they will be politically suffocated and disappear, they will be remembered only as an episodic role on the political scene of Montenegro. Here, in Mojkovac, in December next year, we will once again confirm our strength because the DPS it enjoys the support of nearly 40 percent of the voters. You will always have the support of the party's headquarters. I believe that together, through the small victories we have achieved and those that are yet to come, we will contribute to the DPS being the key pivot of the future government. it's important to stay true to your principles and not make rotten compromises to the detriment of Montenegro," Živković concluded.
