Marković: Montenegro leads a progressive policy

Montenegro with the current Government leads a progressive policy, despite the attempts of numerous factors to stop the country's integration into the European Union (EU), said the Europe Now Movement (PES), stating that this is best confirmed by leaders from relevant European addresses.

PES MP Dane Marković stated that the insistence of the DPS functionary's thesis that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić runs politics according to the dictates of the president of another country is proof that the party has absolutely nothing to offer the citizens, except worn-out platitudes.

"When they had the opportunity to manage the country and show what they know, our country had blocked institutions, closed factories, a largely criminalized security sector and judiciary, stalled European integration, and minimum wages and pensions below all dignity," Marković said. .

The head of the Club of Deputies of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Andrija Nikolić, said last night that the policy of the Montenegrin Government increasingly resembles the policy of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

Marković pointed out that citizens can only assume how to live in Montenegro with such incomes, with such global inflation.

According to him, that is why tens of thousands of young people left the country, while DPS officials developed good-neighborly cooperation with the then and current president of the neighboring country, whom they now associate with Spajić.

"That Montenegro with this Government leads a progressive policy, despite the attempts of numerous factors to stop our integration into the EU, is best confirmed by the leaders from the most relevant European addresses", the announcement says.

Marković pointed out that therefore, before starting new insinuations and complaints about the work of the Government and PES, the DPS should count on always consistently reminding them of the legacy they left during the Governments in which they participated and which were supporting.
