The meeting of representatives of the Europe Now Movement (PES) and the Movement for Podgorica, which consists of the former councilors of that party, was held today in the Assembly of the Capital City.
At the meeting of the ruling majority in the local parliament held on June 11, representatives of the other constituents of the government asked PES and the Movement for Podgorica to make an agreement on resolving the crisis in the capital by Monday or to announce that extraordinary local elections will be held.
On behalf of PES, the meeting was attended by the head of the PES parliamentary group in the Assembly of Montenegro and the president of the club of councilors of that party in the Assembly of the Capital City Vasilije Čarapić, member of the presidency Tihomir Dragaš and vice president of the Parliament of Montenegro and councilor in the Assembly of the Capital City Boris Pejović.
Balša Špadijer, Nađa Ljliljanić, Dragutin Vučinić and Miloš Krstović are present on behalf of the Movement for Podgorica.
Čarapić stayed at the meeting shorter than the other participants.
