President of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Milan Knežević said that he will "always and in every place" defend the Serbian Orthodox Church and its canonical unity.
"Reading the statement of the Metropolis of Montenegrin Littoral, written by an (un)known author, which refers to my proven sinfulness because I am not ready to remain silent, I was surprised why the same was not signed, because if the truth in this statement is absolute and unquestionable, I guess it would be honor to the (un)known author to sign his name and thus testify to his beliefs. I never liked to argue with collective statements, because it puts me in a dominant position at the very start, since everything I have done in my life, whether bad or well, it is signed with my name and surname. So I will continue this polemic with the (un)known author, and not with Mitropolia, with the belief that he will still answer me with his name and surname", announced Knežević.
"It's easy to hide behind the church and God, but come on, hide behind yourself, if you have something to hide behind. That's why I would like the (un)known author to express himself like this after the Montenegrin government voted for the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica, which our Serbian Orthodox Church, and probably also the Metropolitanate of Montenegro, as an integral part of it, was declared genocidal. I would like to have read the express reaction of the (un)known author when Milo Đukanović and Duško Marković used not only heinous qualifications, but also all the institutional mechanisms against of the Serbian Orthodox Church and its dioceses in Montenegro, or that he reacted at least with a mild rebuke when Zdravko Krivokapić refused to sign the Fundamental Agreement at the Parliament. But alas, we only have two express reactions so far: the funeral held for the government of the Republic of Serbia, and the invitation of the (un)known author to contact SDT - of course, we should not expect a reaction to the increasingly obvious attempts to break the canonical unity of the SPC and the formation of the Orthodox Church in Montenegro, which unfortunately some priests (un)consciously promoted. And I think that this is the root of my possible misunderstanding with the (un)known author, because I strongly and uncompromisingly stand for the canonical unity of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and I strongly condemn any attempt to announce the creation of some kind of Orthodox church, which was recently talked about by the archbishop of Cyprus." adds Knežević.
And everyone knows that, he says, "both believers and clergy in the SPC".
"Of course, few people are ready to talk about it publicly, but my path has been thorny all the time, and I have no problem walking barefoot again on the path of thorns in defense of the faith and truth that I have been staring at. The (un)known author of the statement cannot accept the fact that he doesn't have a problem with me, but with SKAJ. And while he's asking for evidence from me, he keeps forgetting that EUROPOL sent that evidence to SDT, and that it's in Ulica slobde (headquarters of SDT), that on the basis of that evidence, 12 people have been arrested so far, that some are on the run, that some are preparing to run away, and that among those people there are also some who had intensive contacts with a number of priests of the Metropolis, one of them being Stevan Simijanović , probysvet, vagabond, forger, and the person who was framed by the venerable Metropolitan Amfilohi as the secretary in the American representative office of the OSCE mission - in Geneva. It was this Simijanović who exerted a decisive influence on the virtuous and noble Metropolitan Amfilohi, in order to stop the leader's entry into the Ostrog monastery and DF officials in the 42nd Government. Not even the (un)known author disputes all this, but confirms that the metropolitan met with Stevan Simijanović, and even supports his mission to kick us out of the government in a conversation with the metropolitan. But Simijanović was not called for an interview by the metropolitan, but was recommended to him, because no one can believe that he just went to Ostrog and formed the government," adds the DNP leader.
And those who brought Simijanović to the metropolitan, as he said, "may they continue to be proud of their role in forming the government."
"Recently, SKAJ also had a confirmation for that. We were required to propose and support Zdravko Krivokapić for the mandate and Dritan Abazović for the vice-president, and to withdraw from further participation in the government. And that was what the late Metropolitan Amfilohije asked us to do, referring to conversation with Simijanović, which we respected. And what's the problem? A few months later, Stevan Simijanović was arrested as a fraudster and magically left Montenegro SKAJ correspondence in which, according to the claims of the high-ranking police official Ilija Vasović (arrested after the publication of the correspondence), an agreement is made to take over the cigarette smuggling business for the interests of Aleksandar Mrkić, Daka Davidović and Stevan Simijanović the main heroes of the SKAJ correspondence Daka Davidović, the bearer of all possible orders and decorations of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and Stevan Simijanović, who was framed by the honorable metropolitan as a high-ranking international representative. And all according to the claims of Ilija Vasović and Aleksandar Mrkić (who is on the run), that they want to take over the cigarette smuggling business, referring to Saint Basil, the cross and Orthodoxy," Knežević states.
He said that the fact that "(the) unknown author in the collective statement wants to wash his hands and conscience of Daka Davidović and the contacts the priests had with him, inviting me to go to SDT, is not only not Christian, but also not human." , but that he has no intention of interfering in their relations.
"I haven't had any communication with Dak Davidović since July 2020, but unlike many who are now running away from him, I have never run away from our acquaintance. Maybe the (un)known author likes to go to SDT and the police and inform them about all his knowledge, but I have to inform him that I will not go to SDT to share my knowledge about who and how he brought Stevan Simijanović to Metropolitan Amfilohi. But I am ready to share all my knowledge with Metropolitan Joaniki when he returns from Russia I am collecting evidence against a number of MCP priests, as the (un)known author claims, but the prosecution and EUROPOL are doing it, so the (un)known author cannot blame me if the names of certain priests are found in the SKAJ correspondence of cigarette smuggling suspects It seems that my fault was that I did not want to remain silent after being deceived by Simijanović and the smuggling lobby. If I had remained silent, I would probably have done better in life, but I am convinced that when I go to the Lord, I will be able to raise my head. and I say: 'I have done this much, it is certainly too little for the kingdom of heaven, but I neither knew nor could.' And the fact that I did something good is evidenced by the large number of messages of support that I received yesterday from the SPC clergy, believers and all objective people who read the subjective statement of the (un)known author, which is full of political qualifications and undisguised animosity towards me. But my mission is true and essential service to the Lord, so that I forgive him brotherly and embrace him in my thoughts, even for the ordered text predecessor on his close, and some claim to his portal, which took over the pages that call for the defense of the holy places. And in which without any polemical spirit I am called all sorts of nicknames that even those from the Belvedere tires would not use against me, and they are used by individuals from or close to the Metropolis," Knežević said.
"And in the end, regarding the truncated halos, I don't know why the (un)known author thinks that I was thinking of him or anyone in the church, unless he declared himself a saint during his lifetime, and neither the Parliament nor the people knew about it they don't know anything. And as for my modest contribution to the defense of the holy places, I know only one thing, if they attack the church again, I will be in the front lines to defend it as I did in December 2019. And I will not ask for any ordination, not even a fresco in the temple, and I know for sure that if it comes to that, they will have to take the medicine to their aunt again and disappear in the smoke of cigarettes. Christ has risen indeed, Knežević concluded.
