The latest events on the political scene, from messages at the All-Serbian Parliament to the announcement by the President of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Milan Knežević that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić accepted the changes to the Constitution and the concept of dual citizenship, undoubtedly show that Spajić is increasingly resembling the ikebana of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro and the leader New Serbian Democracies (NSD) and the Europe Now Movement (PES) to the NSD faction, announced Ivan Vujović, president of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
"It is obvious that the dismissal of the Minister of Justice can also be placed in that context and that Spajić will over time be increasingly dependent on the political blackmail of Mandić and Knežević, whose alleged quarrel is just another transparent maneuver by Belgrade in order to bring Spajić under full control as soon as possible "Knežević only speaks louder and more openly than Mandić, and the goals are, of course, the same - tearing Montenegro apart at all seams," Vujović said in a statement.
He said that "in addition, with the political weakening of the PES, which was strongly demonstrated by the Budva elections, as well as the announcements of the breakup of the ruling coalition in Podgorica and some other cities, it is clear that the blackmailing capacity of Mandić will grow and the political power of Spajić will weaken."
"Spajić's coalition capacity is slowly reduced to only Mandić and Knežević, and when we bear in mind that Spajić is not characterized by any strong ideology and that, by his own admission, he entered the Montenegrin political scene in order to protect the interests of the SPC, there is no doubt what his the future direction of political movement. Or to put it simply - in the strong embrace of Andrija Mandić and the Great Serbian politics, Spajić will end up just like the former civil and European PZP", said Vujović.
He added that "if today Mandic behaves like the master of the parliamentary majority, we can only imagine what it will look like after the announcement of the reconstruction when he should get five members of the Government".
"After that, there will be no obstacles to start, possibly legally violent changes to the Constitution and, what is most dangerous, the introduction of dual citizenship, after which Montenegro would no longer need elections. This is a clear agenda that Spajić, according to Knežević, has already approved , after which there was no denial. This is precisely why the reconstruction of the Government is a clear red line, i.e. the definitive sale of civil Montenegro, after which no formal distinction should be made between Spajić and Mandić," said Vujović.
