Receiving the Report on Fulfillment of Temporary Benchmarks (IBAR) by the end of June would crown a very successful period of dynamizing Montenegro's European path in recent months and direct the country towards finalizing the process, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić said.
As announced by the Government, Bečić, together with the Ambassador of Bulgaria Stefan Dimitrov, arranged a welcome for the Bulgarian President Rumen Radevo and his wife, who arrived today on an official visit to Montenegro.
"Welcome again to Montenegro, a friendly and partner country and the first next member of the EU. We are glad that your visit is coming precisely in the days when Montenegro has finally fulfilled all the temporary benchmarks, achieved excellent results in the field of rule of law and expects to receive a positive IBAR", said Bečić.
He thanked Radev for his sincere and continuous support on Montenegro's European path.
"Enjoy the hospitality of our people and the beauty of our country," said Bečić.
During his two-day visit to Montenegro, Radev will meet with the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović, the President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić and the Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
