The club of councilors of the Movement Europe Sad (PES) announced today that songs dedicated to former police official Zoran Lazović are inappropriate for a donor evening dedicated to children with developmental disabilities.
"The donation evening that was held last night on the occasion of the expansion of the 'Tisa' Day Center was misused by the organizers who allowed songs dedicated to Zoran Lazović to be performed during the event, who is in Spuž on suspicion of cooperation with organized crime," the announcement states. They added that PES councilors Dražen Petrić and Jelenka Andrić also attended the event "in order to provide support to children with developmental disabilities and thus show that we can put political differences aside when it comes to certain topics".
"We do not dispute the right of anyone to glorify any idols, to call whoever they want kings, to protect the sons of the state who in the past 30 years literally got rich under the guise of protecting its security, and to protect the sons who casually chat with the worst criminals on the SKY application. Only what we dispute and what we strongly condemn is turning the donor evening into a pub setting and glorifying controversial members of the security sector, about whom even the citizens of Bijelo Polje know everything. and we will express help for good and noble initiatives in a different way," reads the statement of the PES Councilors' Club.

Lazović and former chief special prosecutor Milivoje Katnić were arrested on April 14. They were handcuffed by officers of the Special Police Department (SPO), headed by Predrag Šuković.
They are accused of working as GST and assistant directors of the Police Administration for the benefit of the mafia clan.
SDT suspects Lazović of amining the opening of the Montenegrin border for the entry of mercenaries and the organized criminal group Veljko Belivuk and Marko Miljković.
Both of them are accused of saving a high-ranking member of the Kavaka clan, Duško Roganović, from serious charges.
