Spajić: A salary of 1.700, 1.800 euros is enough for me, the director of the Tax Administration or the police cannot have 1.200

The Prime Minister of Montenegro and President of the Europe Now Movement (PES) Milojko Spajić announced today that the Government headed by him suffered criticism because of the Europe Now 1.

At the event on the occasion of the constitution of the PES Podgorica City Committee, he said that people appeared who had not been there in the previous 30 years and they all criticized that program (Europe Now 1) and they all became "generals".

"Where are those generals when we won the elections? Now they reappeared when we announced Europe Now 2. Where will those generals be when we implement all the reforms, destroy crime, when corruption is minimal and when we get IBAR?" he asked. is Spajić.

There are, as he says, "programmed journalists", whose goal is to undermine "our story, program", although in PES they want "desperately to talk about economic topics, the rule of law, IBAR and European integration".

"Whenever we go to a press conference, we desperately want to talk about the economy, the rule of law, IBAR and European integration. But no, there are programmed journalists who come, of course, full respect for the media and they should ask all possible questions, but they only They are only interested in nationalism and the past. They are only interested in undermining the foundations of our story, in undermining the foundations of an economically advanced Montenegro."

There, as he added, is "the pain of rights".

"It is not a problem for them about any law or anything else. There is real patriotism here, because someone who accepts difficult positions without additional benefits...And someone says that you in the government have high incomes. I will tell you that we do not - no one in The government, parliament or anywhere else does not have high incomes. These are high incomes compared to the average citizen, I agree, but these incomes are not high".

The city board of PES Podgorica was constituted today.

Saša Mujović, minister of energy and mining, was elected president.

The vice presidents are - Bojan Popović, Bojan Božović, Miloš Pižurica and Anđela Mićović.

Spajić thanked the newly elected leadership of the PES City Committee, especially the chairman of that committee, Saša Mujović, emphasizing his results as Minister of Energy and Mining.

He said that Mujović is someone who wants to bring the French energy company EDF to Montenegro, but that yesterday he was the target of criticism due to the failure of the electricity system.

"Yesterday you saw an attempt to disparage Saša, to accuse Montenegro of having caused the collapse of the entire system in the Balkans. This is the best illustration of how certain media react to all our successes, how our political opponents react to all our successes, because that was completely untrue. What do colleagues from Albania say - that it was the Greeks who made the mistake...Serbia and some other countries said 'thank God we have cooperation with Montenegro and CGES'.

He said that salaries in the state administration are not high, because in the previous period it was compensated by corruption and no one cared about the average employee.

"We don't care. I came to Montenegro rich, a salary of 1.700, 1.800 euros is enough for me," Spajić said.

He added that, however, the director of the Tax Administration or the police cannot have a salary of 1.200 euros, because they have a lot of responsibility and pressure.

He stressed that the "Simo Milošević" Institute will not fail during this Government, and such is the case with EPCG and all companies.

"We have not come out of the crisis, but in half a year we will make the Simo Milošević Institute proud", he said.

"This country depends on the work of a small number of people and we need people like Saša Mujović, people who have achieved themselves. You cannot enter politics hungry and unfulfilled. Now we have a team of old corrupt people and young people without a day of experience. We are trying to give you a third choice - relevant experience and work and dedication," Spajić said.

He said that one cannot be young and not have energy.

"We're looking for people with energy. We don't make promises, we're just telling you our plans," said Spajić.

He said that people constantly ask him if he can hire them.

"I can, but not by order. Everyone has to go through the procedures, I haven't hired any of my relatives. I don't have mistresses, especially not those who are employed in the state administration," said the prime minister and president of PES.

He said that he would not give "a single euro" and that the budget inspection would work even more intensively, and it had already "cost one team".

He said that the average salary will be 1.000 euros "period".

"We will be ten spears ahead of everyone in the region, but gross earnings will be the lowest, which will make us competitive. This will bring real investors, because the cost of labor for employers will be low, and workers will be satisfied. We will become competitive as a country," he said. Spajic.

He said that he was ashamed of the period of the 90s, that so much money and opportunities were lost.

"Generations of my parents lost their youth in the stories of nationalism, in the frauds of various Dafins...", said Spajić.

Injac: We will not divide people on any basis

The mayor of Podgorica and member of the PES presidency, Olivera Injac, said that she believes that everyone has a common task to build a community of free citizens and individuals.

"In order to achieve this, we must be guided by a clear vision, leadership and stay connected with those who share the same goals, while respecting those who think differently," she said.

"As we promised from the first day, we remained in the background that we would not divide people on any basis. Without this committee, it is not easy or possible to give a result, I felt it in the previous months without the support of the committee," said Injac.

She said that she was proud of the results in the 14 months since she was in charge of Podgorica, but that there was a lot of noise.

That noise, he says, served as a shield for those who were left by institutions in shambles.

"These obstructions are continuous, but we have not given up," Injac said.

Božović says that he "defends the IBAR laws", Dragaš that "together we must correct the problems of the past"

Bojan Božović, who is also the state secretary in the Ministry of European Affairs, addressed the members of the Committee via video message because he is at the session of the Venice Commission in Venice where, as he says, he defends the IBAR laws.

He said that he hopes that everyone will achieve new successes together.

President of the Board of Directors of Air Montenegro and official of PES Tihomir Dragaš congratulated Mujović and said that he bears part of the blame that Mujović, as a non-party person, became a minister and then part of PES.
