Jovanović: Official invitation to Laković for a discussion in the direction of agreeing on the establishment of government in Budva

I perceive positively the statement of the Member of Parliament of the Europe Now Movement (PES) Mrs. Nađe Laković, who announced that this party will be a constructive agent of the government in Budva, which is why in the coming days I will send an official invitation for a constructive conversation in the direction of agreeing on the establishment of the government, announced the leader of the civic list "Budva our city" and President of the Municipal Assembly (SO) Budva Nikola Jovanović.

"I believe that in the course of the talks we will also resolve possible dilemmas as to whether all the parties that make up the opposition entities at the state level are undesirable or desirable partners if we take into account that with some, such as the URA, they already exercise power in the capital city where PES itself calls for the preservation of that same authority," said Jovanović.

He added that he has no doubt that "as a serious political entity, PES has its own independent direction of political activity, in which the basis is respect for the will of citizens expressed in elections and the fight against crime, which must be a priority regardless of where it takes place".

"Due to the fact that Budva, as a metropolis of tourism, generates 50 percent of the total tourist traffic and income to the state budget, the responsibility of political actors is to form a government in the shortest possible legal term based on the electoral will of the citizens of Budva as the bearer of sovereignty. In this sense, PES as a party has a special responsibility which dominantly manages state institutions, and that's why I believe and have no doubt that they will accept the invitation for an agreement, because to the responsible people who make decisions, citizens are more important than anything else," said Jovanović.
