If every day you enter Facebook, X or a random portal that does not check what it publishes, you are guaranteed to meet anti-EU and anti-Western narratives, said the editor-in-chief of the Raskrinkavanje.me platform Darvin Murić, saying that these narratives are more active than ever .
"The dominant component of these narratives is accusing Europe and Western countries of hypocrisy, i.e. of propagating one thing and doing the other. In our country, they are focused on America and the EU, and they don't always have to 'target' the European Commission (EC) directly, they don't mind misinforming about EU members individually," says Murić.
First, he adds, "in the crosshairs" was France, and now – Germany, and all this in two months of the campaign and elections for the European Parliament.
"Let's quickly recall - during May, we could read on various pro-Russian portals that France sent troops to Ukraine, then that Emmanuel Macron wants to ban social networks, that planes fly the Russian flag over Paris at a ceremony related to the Olympic Games. It was and other lies. When it's not aimed at the EC, or France, then it's time to 'incite' the Germans. And how," writes Murić.
He gave several examples.
"'In Germany, students are taught that Russia is a 'monster' and an 'occupier' and that they should hate it," IN4S writes. The Russian woman helped the little Ukrainian to study, but one day, as soon as he entered the school, he immediately started beating her.'' Even if their background is ignored, they have offered absolutely no evidence for their claims," said Murić.
"After the story in which a little Ukrainian boy beats a little Russian girl who helps him study, we came across a similar one - children are targeted again, the narrative is the same - evil Germany and Russia as salvation. The title goes like this - PUTIN PROVIDED HER PROTECTION! The German politician fled to Russia to protect the children from the SYSTEM! The story is a little different - Olga Petersen, she was expelled from the German right-wing party VfD, she was a member of the council in Hamburg, she observed the elections in Russia, after that, as the media write, she took the children out of the country and stayed in Russia. There is indeed a dispute about her children, but the reasons are quite different - she expelled them from school, which is forbidden in Germany, and the German media state that the process for taking away the children, as she claimed, was not initiated and the separation of children from the mother is not enough, then it says - Germany is going to war. Yes, it is literally the title - Pistorius is at war, and in the texts it is said that the Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius a document relating to what should be done if war with Russia were to be entered. And it could be said that he practically declared war," says Murić.
He says that it is not only Germany that is the target, but that it is "interspersed with these false narratives".
"That's how we found out that the European Commission wants to 'fully censor Telegram'. The authors say they came across a Bloomberg report that reveals this. In fact, they came across an article published on the Bloomberg website in which there is absolutely no mention of censorship of Telegram but compliance with the Digital Rights Act to EU services (Digital Service Act), which applies to all large technology companies and not only to Telegram. It wouldn't be that if Montenegro didn't get involved. Borba announced that "the number of opponents of joining the EU has almost tripled." If 22,4 is three times more than 14, then they are right," concludes Murić.
