A broad movement that will consist of people who have been in politics and those who have not been involved in politics until now, will appear independently in the local elections in Podgorica, if they are announced.

This is what the former Minister of Justice and one of the initiators of the founding of that movement, Marko Kovač, told "Vijesta", stating that people in that political entity are bound by "the same views on the future of Montenegro and its key development directions".

"Citizens of Montenegro these days, Sundays, months, see and know for the best that things in Montenegro are not going in the right direction. The enthusiasm we had in that landmark year of 2020, when the necessary political changes began, seems to have completely died down today. We think that the energy of changes must not be lost and that they must be essential, more serious and faster, in the interest of every citizen of our Montenegro", said Kovač.

He stated that, as responsible people, determined to live and create in Montenegro, they look to the future and want to deal with "an agenda that concerns the common man and solutions for a better and more carefree life for every individual". He pointed out that they will not deal with the past and quarrels, like many others.

"Through organizing within a broad movement for which there is both space and need, we will offer solutions for the most important issues that plague Montenegro and its citizens, which simply relate to creating the conditions for Montenegro to be a better place to live and work, according to its citizens , whoever he was and whatever he spelled it", underlined Kovač.

He said that their political offer will not be a list of wishful thinking and unrealistic pre-election promises, but clear, efficient and sustainable solutions "so that Montenegro can move forward strongly".

"A new and completely different political offer on the political map of Montenegro will be presented by a larger group, first of all serious, responsible and professional people, in the civil sense of course friends, and only then political comrades or like-minded people. In addition to the above, we are also bound by the same views on the future of Montenegro and on its key directions of development", said Kovač.

He said that he would not yet speak about the names that will be in the new movement, but that he can state that it is a question of a larger number of people, some of whom were in politics, as well as some who have not been politically engaged so far, but are therefore, according to him, professionally proven and realized in life and work.

Speaking about the performance in the eventual elections in Podgorica, Kovač said that it would not be the first time that political actors quarreled, said the worst about each other, and then, fearing the electoral punishment of the citizens, made rotten compromises and "reconciled" at the last moment. .

"Unfortunately, the price of such compromises is paid by the citizens of Podgorica. However, if there are early elections in the capital, we will be ready for them, we will make our political offer, and we are convinced that it will be recognized by a large number of our fellow citizens", said Kovač.

"Vijesti" announced in July last year that former officials of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) Danijela Đurović, Kovač, Miomir Vojinović and Nebojša Vuksanović will register a group of citizens, with the help and support of the current Minister of Finance Aleksandar Damjanović, who left the SNP in 2017. They they didn't want to talk about it then, but no one denied that information.

Đurović was the president of the Parliament of Montenegro, Vojinović was the minister of education, while Vuksanović was the holder of the SNP list in the elections in Podgorica in October 2022.

"Vijesti" then announced that, according to unofficial information, former officials of the SNP expect the support of the current president of the country and the former official of the Movement for Europe (PES), now Jakov Milatović, who, according to those plans, should "pull" a part of party supporters and officials of that party.
