The President of the Workers' Party, Maksim Vučinić, spoke on the occasion of the adoption of the Resolution on Genocide in the Jasenovac, Dachau and Mauthausen camp system, as well as the reaction to that decision of the Parliament, asking "what is more natural than always and in every place to condemn genocides, i.e. the Holocaust in the system of Nazi camps".
He asked, among other things, "for whose interest the agents of public speech are distancing Montenegrin society from the truth".
"After the adoption of the resolution on the genocide in Jasenovac, Dachau and Mauthausen, the defenders of Croatia's interests in Montenegro are sprouting like mushrooms after the rain... And that would be a serious signal for concern, if they did not know the profiles of those persons, who today are crying in chorus about this civilizational determination of the Assembly The array of apologists for other people's interests, starting of course with Ranko Krivokapić, the ideological descendant of Sekula Drljević, the living fossil of the politics of the nineties, all the way to Damir Šehović, who wants to draw attention to himself by seriously changing his thesis. and they regret that Croatia will slow down our integration??? Think of this situation, that Germany disputes Poland's future status in the EU for the first time in two thousand years, under the pretext of earlier condemnations of the Holocaust by the Polish parliament," Vučinić said in a statement. .
He asked if there are politicians in the European Union, in its institutions, who will "condemn the Montenegrin condemnation of genocide in the system of concentration camps".
"Has fascism been buried in Europe, or has it just been stored away to spring up in a new time? Does history rhyme again, that we are once again the cornerstone of that Europe on the way to Europe? Many questions whose answers these days are answered with the sickening roar of apologists for other people's interests They are hiding from the people of Montenegro. For whose interest do the Montenegrin people distance themselves from the truth? anti-fascist foundations of Montenegro. Fortunately, the system of distorted values that was built during the Milovig DPS regime is surely collapsing and moving to the margins of political events in Montenegro," concluded Vučinić.
