The abuse of the victims of yesterday's storm for political purposes is beastly and unprecedented, and at the same time an act characteristic of a party that has been silent for all these years as if watered down while hundreds of organized criminal groups ravaged Montenegro, while journalists and police officers were either liquidated or were clay pigeons on the streets throughout Montenegro, said Mitar Paunović, the spokesman for the Democrats.
He was reacting to the statement of Social Democrat MP Branislav Nenezić, who said that due to someone's carelessness, ignorance, irresponsibility and dealing with irrelevant matters, two lives were lost in yesterday's storm.

"The party whose Minister of the Interior, Ivan Brajović, allowed the complete paralysis of Montenegro in 2012 due to the storm that hit Montenegro, in which there were victims and passengers trapped for days under the snow, and no one even tried to solve such difficult situations in any way. abused our country for the purpose of scoring pointless political points," said Paunović.
He says that this is to be expected from the Social Democrats because they didn't even blush when they "consistently stuffed 10,5 million euros into the pockets of the tycoon Aco Đukanović in the case of Limenko, when in the Ministry of Education they spent 700.000 euros on food and drink in four years, when testified falsely in court in the case of Ramada, when they used state money to pay for party lunches and dinners, when they privately arranged with Duško Knežević to deposit money from the Public Enterprise Aerodromi Crne Gore in Atlas Bank for a plot in Bjelopavlići, when they were from the state of Montenegro and local self-governments used to take apartments for 0 euros and now rent them out for a monthly rent of 1500 euros".
"These and similar unprecedented announcements are not surprising from a party like this," concluded Paunović.
