The Minister of Internal Affairs, Danilo Šaranović, informed the public that the handover of duties was carried out between the former Acting Director of the Police Administration, Aleksandar Radović, and Zoran Brđanin, who, according to the ruling of the Administrative Court, continues his mandate in the position of director.
Šaranović stated in a statement that "this circumstance is a consequence of the determination of the Government of Montenegro to respect court decisions".
After the technical handover, according to the announcement, they discussed work priorities, already implemented reforms and planned numerous activities aimed at improving the work of the Police Administration in all areas.
"Regardless of the fact that since the formation of this government there have been three transitions in the position of director, the achieved results show that we are building a system that is functional, resilient and ready to respond to all the challenges that lie before us. On this occasion, I emphasize that I am with all three director had a professional and cooperation focused on the well-being of the system, because the focus on achieving the full functionality of the entire body is a reflection of both personal and collective responsibility individual," Saranovic said.
