The meeting of the leaders of the list "For the future of Budva - Budva open city" and "Budva our city" Mladen Mikijelj and Nikola Jovanović ended without a concrete agreement.
As "Vijesti" confirmed, Mikijelj rejected Jovanović's offer, which was placed in certain media even before it was proposed at the meeting, that the New Serbian Democracy should give the so-called minority support and vote Jovanović out of the post of Municipality President.
Jovanović offered that the future government would be made up of his list of nine councilors, four from the Democrats, one councilor each from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and GP URA, and two councilors each from the Europe Now Movement (PES), the Socialist People's Party (SNP) and the Democratic People's Party. (DNP).
The Democrats said earlier that they did not give blank support to either list, and that they asked that when they had 13 councilors, they would come to negotiate the constitution of the government with their four councilors.
Mikijelj made it clear to Jovanović that if he starts negotiations with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), as he announced, he should not count on the list "For the Future of Budva" (NSD, DNP, SNP, PzP).
Mikijelj, as told to "Vijesti" from the list "For the future of Budva", told Jovanović that the meeting seemed to him to be an alibi so that he could talk to the DPS.
He did not want to talk about the functions, but to respect the electoral will of the citizens, because the list "For the future of Budva" won the most votes and if the government is constituted, it must be PES and the Democrats.
Jovanović did not answer the calls of "Vijesti". Earlier today, he told "Vijesta" that he would make a statement after the meeting.
As "Vijesti" was told from the list "For the future of Budva", the meeting was not secured by members of the police.
