The Movement for Podgorica has no cooperation with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), which cannot be said for the Movement for Europe Now (PES), announced the official of the Movement for Podgorica, Miloš Krstović.
He stated that the confirmation of the cooperation between the PES and the DPS is reflected "every Thursday at the Government sessions", when you look at the personnel solutions in the executive branch.
Krstović reacted to the allegations of the PES, which accused the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, that when he failed at the national level, he decided to overthrow the government in Podgorica at the local level with the DPS.
"President Milatović made an immeasurable contribution in the fight against the DPS from August 30, 2020, achieving victories in the local and presidential elections, where he convincingly defeated both the DPS and Milo Đukanović. He also very clearly defined himself during the formation of the 44th. The government, together with us from the Movement for Podgorica, is preventing the historical fraud of our and all other voters who dreamed of freedom for 30 years from happening," said Krstović.
He added that thanks mostly to Milatović, "the threat that the DPS represented, and which unfortunately still represents today, is incomparably smaller and weaker."
"Our cooperation with the DPS is non-existent, while we see both at the state and local level a very sophisticated and perfidious cooperation between the PES and the DPS, and if anyone wants to see this for himself in particular, he has the opportunity every Thursday at the Government sessions. when he looks at the personnel solutions in the executive power. So, this is not about cooperation with the DPS, but about the fact that PES did not fulfill the promises made to the citizens of the capital and that they must no longer be held hostage to any political games," concluded Krstović.
