President of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) and member of the Parliament of Montenegro, Milan Knežević, said on March 11 that the members of that party will not vote for the reconstruction of the Government, which will include the Bosniak Party (BS), if the members of the BS vote for the removal of Andrija Mandić from the post of president Assembly.
President and deputy (BS) Ervin Ibrahimović then said during the discussion that BS would vote for the dismissal of Mandić.
He also said that they do not see the initiative as the dismissal of Mandić, but as a test of Montenegro's Euro-Atlantic path.
The initiative to dismiss Mandić did not receive the support of the majority of deputies at that time.
At the session on March 11, 27 deputies voted for the dismissal, and 44 voted against it.
72 MPs voted, and one ballot was invalid.
Voting was secret.
Knežević also said today in the Parliament during the debate on the reconstruction of the Government that he told Ibrahomović that he would be against his entry into the government, because he thought that the Bosniak Party could not play for Crvena Zvezda in one half and for Partizan in the other.
Deputies of the Parliament of Montenegro are discussing the proposal for the reconstruction of the Government today.
According to the reconstruction proposal, DNP cadres also enter the Government.
The new vice-presidential post for infrastructure from the DNP should go to Milun Zogović, while his party colleague Maja Vukićević will be the minister of transport.
BS could get six positions in the reconstructed Government.
That party should get the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs, which will be covered by Ibrahimović, and the leader of BS will also be the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations.
The post of Minister of Social Welfare and Demography should belong to BS, a position that will be freed up by the separation of the Ministry of Energy and Mining, and the newly formed Ministry for the Diaspora and the Ministry for Regional and Investment Development and Cooperation with NGOs.
Admir Šahmanović is a candidate for the Minister of Mining, Oil and Gas, Damir Gutić for the Minister of Social Welfare and Demography, Mirsad Azemović for the Minister of Diaspora and Ernad Suljević for the Minister of Regional and Investment Development and Cooperation with NGOs.
