Democratic official and until recently a minister in the 44th Government, Vladimir Martinović announced that he is leaving the party because of the way he was dismissed, the single-mindedness and animosity of one man towards him.
"As someone who is one of the founders of Democratic Montenegro, for the sake of the public I want to announce, and as someone who believes that it is no secret and is well known to everyone, so God help me, this decision of mine has nothing to do with armchairs and my dismissal from the position of minister, because everything is transient, but because of the way I was dismissed as a hindrance to one person and the animosity of one man towards me, whom I bothered because of attitudes that were once against that same one-mindedness," said Martinović.
He said that he did this without prior information that he would be fired, although it is said that this was apparently prepared in advance.
"As of today, I am no longer a member of Democratic Montenegro. I regret that the results achieved in these eight months in a difficult situation, especially in the field of ecology, were not appreciated and were measurable for such decisions," wrote Martinović.
He thanked all those who were both for and against such a decision.
"Also, I would like to wish luck to my colleagues who have remained in this political entity, and they believe that these methods are correct. In my opinion, this is neither someone's defeat nor victory, but the beginning of unstoppable democratic processes. As someone who believes and believed while he was a minister , that this government should introduce Montenegro into the EU, I am not one of those who wants anything else to happen just because he is not a minister, except for those goals to be met and the economic standards of the citizens to improve. That is why I firmly hope and believe that the team will I would like to wish every success for everything that is for the benefit of this country," said Martinović.
