All the frivolity, irresponsibility and impudence of this government is manifested in the fact that the lack of a quorum, that is, the non-arrival of the councilors of the government at the session, they try in vain to justify that they have obligations at the state level, announced today from the Club of Councilors European Team for Nikšić.
The announcement was made by the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), which is part of that committee
"The session of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly, which was scheduled to continue this morning at nine o'clock, was not held due to the lack of a quorum. All the irresponsibility, irresponsibility and impudence of this government is manifested in the fact that, the lack of a quorum, that is, the non-attendance of the councilors of the government, trying it is in vain that they justify that they have obligations at the state level. We ask if these obligations are limited in depth and breadth?", the press release of the Club of Councilors European Team for Nikšić points out.
They added that the attitude of the authorities "toward the citizens of Nikšić is best expressed by the fact that they are unable to provide conditions for the smooth continuation of the session, especially when taking into account the fact that they are on the agenda of the session, which was scheduled at the request of the opposition because of the proposal for the dismissal of Marko Kovačević, and on the occasion of the unprecedented hate speech, they also grafted points, which they did not manage to complete in a timely manner".
"Well, since the gentlemen did not have the democratic capacity to listen to the opposition's address for three minutes, after removing the item from the agenda, we exposed all their arrogance, as well as the truth that on several occasions we were the ones who, for the sake of the citizens, ensured a quorum and unhindered work of the Assembly. Today, we have shown that securing a quorum, by the proud majority, is not so easy, because the citizens of Nikšić are certainly not in the first place, but the armchairs and the sharing of the spoils in the form of privileges and positions", concludes the statement of the Club of Councilors European Team for Niksic.
At the request of the councilors' clubs of the parliamentary majority, the continuation of the session of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly (SO), which was supposed to be held today, will be held on Thursday, July 25.
As explained by the president of SO Nikšić, Nemanja Vuković, some councilors have to attend the session of the state parliament, which is why they asked for the continuation of the session to be postponed.
