The Presidency of Prava Montenegro congratulated the vote of the reconstructed Government of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
As stated in the announcement, the presidency took the position that Prava has a special responsibility in supporting the implementation of that part of the Government's policy for which the Democratic People's Party of Milan Knežević is in charge.
"The Presidency has confirmed the permanent continuation of the harmonization of policies at all levels, with the needs of state political processes, and above all with the policy of the DNP and the coalition agreement signed by party leaders Marko Milačić and Milan Knežević. The Presidency of Prava Montenegro expresses undivided satisfaction with the inclusion of staff DNP and NSD in the composition of the 44th Government and the clear moral satisfaction of the Serbs after thirty years of suffering from the former repressive and undemocratic regime," reads the statement of Prava.
It is added that the presidency of Prava congratulates "a serious political success to the leaders of the Serbian parties, Milan Knežević and Andrija Mandić".
"The participation of Serbian political representatives in the Government marks the final formal recognition of their role and contributes to correcting historical injustices, removing the stigmatization and marginalization that burdened Montenegrin society for a long time under the regime of Milo Đukanović. We believe that the work of this Government will bring positive changes and improve the living standards of all our citizens , finally correcting numerous injustices against the Serbian people, who were systematically humiliated and persecuted for decades under the previous regime," the announcement reads.
It is added that the president of Prava Montenegro, Marko Milačić, particularly emphasized the importance of the entry of representatives of the Serbian people into the Government.
"This is a historic moment for our country, because the representatives of the Serbian people have the opportunity to actively, from the highest level, participate in making decisions of vital importance, which confirms the consistency and perseverance in the fight for a better and fairer Montenegro. The real Montenegro will especially to be engaged in supporting those political positions that Milan Knežević's political party strongly supported by entering the reconstructed Government of Montenegro. Our common path is aimed at justice, equality and prosperity for all citizens, and especially at the importance of the participation of the Serbian people in the political life of Montenegro , not only formally but also fundamentally and institutionally, in order to improve the position of the Serbian people with a wise and mature policy," said Milačić.
