Former members of the New Serbian Democracy Simonid Kordić i Slaven Radunović they could replace Milica Rondović i Velimir Djokovic.
Kordić and Radunović are now ministers (of tourism and spatial planning) in the reconstructed government and, according to the Law on Prevention of Corruption, they are obliged to resign from their parliamentary positions within 30 days. Usually, when a parliamentary seat becomes vacant, it is filled by the next person on the list, and on the New Serbian Democracy list, Velimir Đoković and Milica Rondović are next.
Đoković is the current head of the cabinet of the President of the Assembly Andrije Mandić, and Rondović is the director of the elementary school in Pljevlja.
Ministers from the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Milun Zogović i Maja Vukićević have already resigned from their parliamentary positions, Dragan Bojović and Jelena Kljajević will replace them in the parliamentary benches. Bojović is a former state secretary in the Ministry of Education, a former member of parliament, while Kljajević was the director of National Parks, and now she is the president of the board of the Railway Infrastructure.
The State Election Commission (SEC) filled the vacant parliamentary mandates at its session yesterday after receiving a notification from the Assembly that Zogović and Vukićević resigned from their parliamentary positions.
"After obtaining and considering the necessary documentation, the SEC awarded the vacant parliamentary mandates to Dragan Bojović and Jelena Kljajević. Using the business opportunity, and with the goal of efficient implementation of the procedure, the SEC president Nikola Mugoša he suggested that the filling of the vacant parliamentary seats be done electronically, which will be recorded in the minutes at the next session of the SEC", announced the SEC.
In the reconstructed Government, Zogović was given the position of Deputy Prime Minister, and Maja Vukićević is the Minister of Transport.
The reconstruction of the Government was voted in the parliament last Tuesday and, in addition to the NSD and the DNP, the Bosniak Party (BS) also entered it.
