France will remain committed to the affirmation of the enlargement policy and the dynamic bilateral agenda, it was announced at the meeting of the Vice President of the Government of Montenegro and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ervin Ibrahimović, with the Ambassador of France, Anne Marie Masque.
As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ibrahimović also spoke with the Chinese ambassador to Montenegro, Fan Kuhn.
It is stated that at the meeting with Maska, satisfaction was expressed with the excellent interstate relations, which are characterized by intensive bilateral cooperation, alliance within NATO and France's continuous support for the European integration of Montenegro.
"It was emphasized that France will remain committed to the affirmation of the enlargement policy and the dynamic bilateral agenda," the statement said.
Ibrahimović and Maske confirmed that there is room for further improvement of cooperation and that the two sides are actively working on developing a strategic partnership in the fields of defense, health, infrastructure and ecology.
As stated, the meeting also discussed other topics of mutual interest, as well as the importance of the Center for Cyber Capacities of the Western Balkans (WB3C) and the upcoming Francophonie Summit.
At the meeting between Ibrahimović and Kun, it was assessed that Montenegro and China foster stable and friendly relations, with an emphasis on cooperation in the fields of culture, science and education.
Ibrahimović said that Montenegro remains fully committed to its foreign policy priorities and key goal - joining the European Union.
"During the conversation, it was assessed that the cooperation between Montenegro and China is developing with respect for the strategic directions of development, and with a focus on areas of mutual interest," the announcement states.
