The Ministry of Transport invited the former Minister of Justice, Andrej Milović, to report his claims about potentially rigged tenders related to the supervision of highway works to the Special State Prosecutor's Office.
Milović announced that he has a strong intuition which company will get the job for supervising the preparation of documentation and the execution of works on the section of the highway Bar-Boljare, Mateševo-Andrijevica.
"In view of the statements that appeared in the media today, which come from the former Minister of Justice Mr. Andrej Milović, the Ministry of Transport invites the Special State Prosecutor's Office to listen to him in order to clarify all the circumstances on which Mr. Milović bases his claims," he states. in the press release of the government department headed by Maja Vukićević.
It is added that the Ministry of Transport "will not tolerate any behind-the-scenes actions, no matter who they come from".
"But we also expect that when presenting such serious accusations, the evidence will be presented, otherwise everything will remain in the realm of frivolous stories that do not befit people who aspire to perform important state functions," the announcement concludes.
