In Pljevlja, no one knows what address and number it is, how often street names have changed in the last year, announced today from the Municipal Board of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in Pljevlja.
"We are used to a lot from this unfortunate black-red coalition of Pljevlja, recently interwoven with shades of green, but what they have in mind with the latest decisions regarding street names has poured a drop of bitterness for all the well-intentioned civic-oriented citizens of Pljevlja", it is emphasized in in the press release of DPS Pljevlja.
They added that "the attempt to rename streets whose names remind us of the bright history of the anti-fascist struggle against foreign occupiers and domestic traitors must not pass, not only because of the glorious past, but also because of the anti-fascist values on which we should educate future generations".
"That's why we call on all relevant institutions in Montenegro to stop this newly created evil that has loomed over Pljevlja, and wants to make our city something that it has never been. First of all, we call on the relevant ministries, international organizations, and the prosecutor's office, which should finally recognizes the fascist intentions of the Pljevlja authorities," said DPS Pljevlja.
