The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) definitely strongly believes in the thesis that a lie repeated a thousand times can become the truth, clearly underestimating the citizens of Nikšić and Montenegro, announced the Municipal Committee of the Nikšić Democrats.
"Similarly, the results of the local government, whose backbone is made up of Democrats, are trying to diminish them with falsehoods, manipulations and replacement of theses. However, we understand that they are frustrated by the fact that the Mislov do landfill is being closed and that waste is not deposited there, but is transshipped and not disposed of , in a private hall in the grounds of the Željezara and takes it away and disposes of it at the 'Livade' landfill in Podgorica," the announcement reads.
They said that parallel to that, the rehabilitation of the landfill is underway and it will be finished by the end of September, and six preliminary feasibility studies for the construction of the Waste Management Center are being prepared.
"Frustration is definitely ignited by the fact that the government in Nikšić, whose backbone is Democrats, in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North, headed by a Democrat official, and the Environmental Protection Agency, solved the problem that they, not they didn't know how to solve it, they already did it. So, we are solving the problem with the Mislov landfill, we are protecting the environment and the health of the citizens, and there is no money flying into the air the best evidence in support is the fact that their former mayor was convicted of corruption, as well as a number of members of their government who are currently in prison or on the dock," the announcement states.
"There isn't a citizen of Nikšić who is clear with what face those who created problems in our city for 20 years are today holding on to the authority that solves them, but it is completely clear to us that as long as they base their politics on lies and deception, as long as they are opposition to the city and citizens and servants to tycoons and criminals, the decline of their ratings will continue to be free," it concludes.
