Radio broadcasts of the local Assembly, for which the DPS fought so fervently ten years ago when the SNP was in power, this time he tried to abolish it, with the intention of further darkening even this dark reality of Mojkovac, stifling the free speech of councilors and reducing the transparency of their own malfeasance. This turned out to be the biggest reason, because they were exposed in illegal payments and mutual honors of considerable amounts, especially when it comes to Mojkovac, said the secretary of the Mojkovac committee of the Citizens' Movement URA Boško Laketić.
He reminds that "after the announcement by the president of the URA municipal board, Ivan Ašanin, that, in the event that the DPS cancels the radio broadcast of the session, the councilor club of the URA movement and opposition councilors will boycott the work of the Assembly, the DPS succumbed to pressure and, in the end, enabled the session to be broadcast".
"Thus, the citizens were not deprived of hearing those who represent them, so we are proud to point out this small but significant victory. One of the reasons why DPS wanted to cancel the transmission was the adoption of the Rulebook on the distribution of dedicated funds for solving local housing problems officials and officials in the Municipality of Mojkovac. Namely, 5.000 euros were allocated from the budget for that purpose, for 10 interested officials, and our committee club exposed the financial fraud according to which the mayor of the municipality, Dejan Medojević (who is also the president of the Board of the Tourist Organization of Mojkovac), without the knowledge of the Assembly, awarded as much as 5.000 euros - to the director of the Tourist Organization (TO) Magdalena Mrdović," Laketić pointed out.
He states that "the donation was made at a time when economic austerity measures are being introduced, excise taxes are being increased, an increase in VAT is being announced, and when mothers' allowances are being abolished, while DPS continues to honor its prominent representatives, relatives, and godparents with a fist and a hat on the backs of citizens." .
"The DPS officials made sure that the situation was even more tragicomic, trying to justify it all. In response to our claims that the mentioned funds are from the Municipality's budget, they point out that the Tourist Organization is not only a budget beneficiary, but also has its own special income. If it is about "special income" TO, we remind them that in the plan and program of TO for the year 2017, which was adopted by the votes of the ruling majority - there are no funds for the housing care of the director. While the fact that the Decision on the allocation of funds was signed by the President of the Municipality , Dejan Medojević, in the DPS point out that it was not he who did it, but the president of the Board of Directors of the Tourist Organization, Dejan Medojević. Anyone who thinks that these are two different people is seriously mistaken," said Laketić.
He states that "the height of the tragicomics and hypocrisy of the DPS, where even a few months before the local elections they do not hide their "love" for Mojkovac, is reflected in the fact that 5.000 euros were awarded to Magdalena Mrdović, according to our information, for the renovation of an apartment in Sutomor". .
"This shows once again that they are using Mojkovac in order to make themselves at home in Podgorica, or somewhere on the coast. Then they forget about Mojkovac, so they come before every election to instill fear in people, threaten them with dismissals, hire party workers and buy the souls of people they previously brought in to the edge of existence. But it is already clear to everyone that the end of all this is approaching, and that there is no one left who will stop the DPS's path into the ugly past of Montenegro."
Laketić notes that the URA is waiting for the response of the President of the Municipality and the competent services to the submitted request, sent on the basis of the Law on Free Access to Information, so that "the competent authorities will submit all the documentation concerning this case, but also the documentation of all similar cases in the past six years of their authority". .
