Montenegrin Civil Action (CGA) is a platform that offers solutions, not empty promises. We hire an individual who has ideas. We don't rely on the president because we don't have one. We address each individual and offer solutions to get out of the crisis
This was said today by Stanko Đuričić, one of the candidates for CGA councilor, at the presentation of that list for the local elections in Podgorica.
He said that the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) confirmed their list.
"If we wait for someone else to solve our problems, we are not worthy of ourselves. CGA has a platform that offers every individual to solve problems. We offer a model of how to find solutions, we do not offer trams and a zoo in Podgorica. There is no institution in Montenegro that it is not politicized," Đuričić added.
He said that when you have a number of captive institutions, you have a captive state.
"Our solution is the depoliticization of institutions and that is our condition for cooperation with any party. Political depth is prohibited by law. We are going to the elections ourselves. We submitted the signatures three minutes after midnight. The important thing is that we have the rules on the basis of which we should cooperate with other entities are incorporated into our platform. There is no embezzlement, there is no political gain. This is a completely different concept that ensures that," Đuričić pointed out.
He said that CGA is not interested in anyone's electorate, but citizens, individuals who have realized that parties do not offer a solution.
"Every individual who recognizes this is welcome to come and get to know each other, to vote for the CGA in the elections. We are interested in abstainers. They realized that there are many problems. Those people who think that any party can solve their problems, there is no need to they are thinking about CGA, because we are a reflex and a consequence of all the problems. Necessity forced us to leave our comfort zone. We want to give ourselves to the state and Podgorica," says Đuričić.
Lawyer and one of the candidates for councilor Nada Brajović pointed out that the CGA was created at a time when the majority of citizens expressed many complaints. She asked if society is stumbling towards a retrograde nationalist abyss.
"Today we want a European future. As a citizen, I am particularly concerned about the lack of sanctions for illegal employment and progress in health institutions," she added.
Brajović said that the CGA calls on all citizens who want to contribute to building a better Montenegro to support and contribute to better social and progressive goals.
"Party interests must not be more important than state interests," she stated.
Councilor candidate Boro Lopičić said that CGA is an avant-garde and modern concept of a political organization.
"It was created without a bulky apparatus. All decisions are made by two-thirds and there are no major ones. It was founded by enthusiasts. In other parties, all political bodies are created by the president. Such parties and individuals have accumulated great power. CGA has a model to prevent such a model of behavior. We inherit meritocracy as the only category that can recover institutions and the state," he stated.
He said that CGA has clearly defined rules with which entities it can cooperate.
"Our DNA is respect for the constitution, the law...CGA is the spark, the citizens of Podgorica are flint, and it is clear that we can dispel this fog over the city. Join the action for the process of healing the state and society. No one in CGA has ever been involved in politics, but these are people who are known for their private and professional dignity," he stated.
Doctor and Master of Medical Sciences Milena Dapčević said that "we must not forget that the power of change lies within ourselves".
"I have been working as a doctor for over 20 years. I have dedicated my life to medicine. Today I am not here as a doctor, but as an individual who wants to make changes. Podgorica is the most famous city in the world. We are witnessing that people who have no risk factors fall ill with the most serious diseases. Why? The answer is simple and painful - the stress and uncertainty we are exposed to," she assessed.
She said that a sick society creates sick individuals.
"Let's get out of the comfort zone and it's time for action," she pointed out.
Đuričić answered the journalist's question about the concrete problems in Podgorica and how they plan to solve them.
"The problems in every city, including PG, are of a systemic nature. Every political promise is a promise to buy time for the citizens of PG to believe in something that is a lie. The problems are that the parties promise what is not necessary for pro-women," he said.
He stated that it is not possible to talk about the zoo, and the lighting works during the day.
"The problem is systemic. I ask the public which problem solution was promised and fulfilled," he said.
When asked to propose a concrete solution, he mentioned a moratorium on construction in places where there is a building, but there are not enough parking spaces.
He also gave an example of organic waste, which is not taken away.
"We have dozens of projects, but they are unachievable if the platform is not implemented".
Lopičić, answering the journalist's question with whom he can cooperate, said that these are all those who respect the state of Montenegro, i.e. its symbols.
"Coalition is not possible with those who do not respect international resolutions and conventions, state symbols defined by the constitution..." read part of the party's statute.
