The statement of the Movement for Podgorica, in which they aggressively tried to deal with me, and the legal solutions on the topic of education, is characterized by a lack of argumentation and an excess of hysteria, said MP of the Movement Europe now Jelenka Andrić.
"The irony in the attempt to connect me with the former regime was especially emphasized by those people who, a few weeks ago, in front of the public, were the keys of the DPS and the voting staff of the DPS in shortening the mandate of the democratic government in Podgorica. Moreover, given that The leading party of the former regime attacks me the most these days, the councilors of Jakov Milatović seem to have come to the aid of their colleagues from DPS in their attack on me," Andrić announced.
She added that she has no problem with that, but that due to public interest, she will pay more attention to the topic.
"One of the most important facts regarding legal solutions was pointed out by the Directorate for Inspection Affairs, and it concerns the dysfunctionality of the existing solution. In practice, it happened that the Educational Inspection asked school boards to dismiss school principals due to illegal work or abuse of official position, and that the boards simply ignore it. In some cases, the school boards elected directors who did not meet the requirements, and even in those cases, the existing law does not allow for measures and actions that would comply with the law, because the boards elected the same candidates after the opinion of the competent inspection with the new law, the political election of directors is not sustainable for several reasons. First, the current directors will not be replaced, if they perform their work professionally ".
Andrić assesses that the introduction of regulations and the publicity of the election procedure increases transparency and objectivity, which should enable the best candidates to be directors, and not those favored by board members for whatever reason.
"Finally, when it comes to constitutional powers and political consistency, I remind the PzPG councilors that their leader said only a year ago that he would not participate in the campaign for the parliamentary elections because he wants to be, I quote, the president of all citizens. And today he announces his participation in the elections in Podgorica. From what he himself said, a clear conclusion emerges: Jakov Milatović does not want to be the president of all citizens, and after all, he confirmed this with his actions in the past months," concluded Andrić.
