The Europe now movement and the Democrats are still negotiating a joint appearance in the elections in Podgorica on September 29 and are close to an agreement, Vijesti has learned.

According to unofficial information, the places on the electoral list have not yet been defined, that is, how many will belong to which party.

At the same time, the two political entities are also negotiating a joint appearance in the local elections in Budva and Kotor, said a Vijesti source who is participating in the negotiations.

As "Vijesti" previously announced, PES considered three options - an independent performance, a coalition with the Democrats and a broad coalition that would include the majority parliamentary parties (Democrats, New Serbian Democracy, Democratic People's Party, Socialist People's Party, Bosniak Party).

The Democrats previously announced that they were in the mood for a coalition, but that in the event of an independent appearance, the current Minister of the Interior, Danilo Saranović, would be the holder of the list.

In the elections two years ago, PES won 13 mandates, and the Democrats (with coalition partners) won six.
