The Europe Now Movement (PES) and the Democrats agreed late last night on how to distribute seats on joint coalition lists for the elections in Podgorica, Kotor and Budva - "Vijesti" has learned unofficially.
According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", it was agreed that the first six places on the list for the Podgorica elections will be divided half-and-half (three places for PES, three for the Democrats), and the first ten, that is, twenty in the ratio of 60 to 40 percent in favor of PES- a.
This means that, in the event that the coalition list wins 10 mandates, Milojko Spajić's PES would get six, and Aleksa Bečić's Democrats would get four. In case of winning 20 mandates, PES would get 12 seats in the Podgorica parliament, and the Democrats eight.
When it comes to the list for the Kotor elections, PES will have the second place on it, i.e. a total of four in the first 14, while the Democrats will be the leader of the list and a total of 10 places.
As for the list for the elections in Budva, the first four councilor candidates will be distributed alternately (one seat goes to PES, the other to the Democrats), and in the first ten, the ratio will be 70 to 30 percent in favor of Bečić's party.
Last night, PES and the Democrats agreed on pre-election cooperation in the elections in the capital and two coastal municipalities.
The holder of the list of their coalition in Podgorica will be the minister of energy and head of the PES board in the capital Saša Mujović. The elections in Podgorica are scheduled for September 29.
"Vijesti" announced last night that the list in the elections in Budva should most likely be led by the vice-president of the Democrats Dragana Kaženegra Stanišić, while the list at the polling stations in Kotor should be carried by the leader of that municipality and high official of the Democrats Vladimir Jokić.
Elections in Kotor will be held at the same time as in Podgorica - on September 29, while those in Budva are scheduled for November 17.
