Prava Montenegro announced that it will be part of the coalition "For the future of Podgorica" in the upcoming local elections in the capital. That was decided by the Main Committee of that party.
They said that Prava, based on the coalition agreement signed by the leader of that party, Marko Milačić, and the president of the Democratic People's Party, Milan Knežević, believes that this step represents a continuation of the harmonization of political positions at all levels with the DNP, in accordance with the signed agreement.
"The coalition 'For the future of Podgorica' in the previous local elections, in which we also participated together, achieved a significant success, which marked the dethronement of the decades-long rule of the DPS and their satellites. We are convinced that this time the result will be even better, because the citizens during In the past two years, they had the opportunity to see how concrete results can be achieved through persistent and consistent work," the announcement states.
They point out that no party that is a constituent of the coalition "For the Future of Podgorica" participated in the "overthrow of the government in cooperation with DPS".
"Those political forces that decided to shorten their mandate in partnership with the DPS will face the same fate as the DPS itself. We are sure that the unity of the Serbian bloc in the elections on September 29 will give a winning energy and synergy that will be recognized by all the citizens of Podgorica and appoint a new mayor of Podgorica. From today, Prava Crna Gora, as part of a great winning team, is working for the victory, which we will make official on September 29," they conclude.
