Mikijelj will support Jokić

Kotor Municipality Manager Ivan Mikijelj, and former member of the Main Board of New Serbian Democracy, will support the current Kotor Mayor Vladimir Jokić in the upcoming local elections that will be held in that city on September 29.

According to unofficial information from Vijesti, the former NSD staff who resigned from all positions in that political entity, has been the manager of the Municipality since the beginning of Jokić's second mandate, and announced that he supports Jokić in leading the city in the next four-year period.

We remind you that after the formation of the local government in Kotor on August 30, 2020, there were disagreements in the ruling majority, which resulted, among other things, in the exit of the NSD from the executive power.

Mikijelj, despite the fact that he was a member of NSD and held one of the leading positions in the Municipality of Kotor, remained in that position until the term of office of the current government.

The main reason for supporting Jokić and the list led by the current municipal manager, as Vijesti learns, is Mikijelj's satisfaction with the work done in the previous period in the field of development infrastructure projects that are ongoing or have been completed in the municipality of Kotor.

In order for the Municipality of Kotor to finish the started development projects as quickly as possible and start a number of others that are being prepared, Mikijelj mentioned on several occasions that his previous work has proven that he can provide an even greater contribution to the development of the city under the leadership of Jokić in the coming period, because believes that in the community it is not important to preserve and "improve" particularism at all costs, but on the contrary, to bring reference personnel to their respective positions in the municipality, where important decisions are made in the interests of citizens.
