The coalition "For the future of Podgorica" and the Bosniak Party (BS) will participate in the upcoming elections in the capital under almost the same slogan.
The slogan of the coalition "For the future of Podgorica", which is led by the parties of the former Democratic Front (DF), is - "City of all of us", and of BS - "Podgorica of all of us".
The parties of the former DF and BS have recently been coalition partners in the state government.
The elections in Podgorica are scheduled for September 29.
Tonight at midnight, the deadline for submitting ballots for the elections in the capital city expires, and so far six of them have been confirmed - the "Forward" movement, the European Union, the former Minister of Justice Andrej Milović, the Party of European Progress of former Prime Minister Duško Marković, the coalition of the head of state Jakov Milatović, and the Montenegrin civil action list.
Seven more lists were submitted, the confirmation of which has yet to be decided. These are the lists of Preokret, the Montenegrin European Party, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the Tenants' Movement, BS, the coalition Movement Europe Now-Democrats, as well as the list "For the Future of Podgorica".
Albanian parties will not participate in the elections.
