The European Union will advocate that Kotor, as one of the oldest cities in the world, will not be the last in Montenegro to establish a local television station, which would play an important role in promoting, informing, educating and connecting the people of Kotor, said candidate Sonja Seferović. on the list "European Union (SD, SDP, LP and citizens) - Kotor will shine".
"All the lords of the city of Kotor from its creation until today have left recognizable traces that contribute to its cultural and material wealth. The stamp of the past is still visible today, which is why it is one of the most attractive tourist destinations. Television Kotor broadcasts shows and documentaries about culture, history, architecture and tradition would promote the city as a tourist destination and contribute to the attraction of visitors who will stay longer in Kotor," said Seferović.
She said that TV Kotor would serve as the main source of information about all events in the city, service information, traffic, weather forecast, it would broadcast sessions of the Kotor Municipal Assembly, public debates and important issues of local politics.
"Through the discussion platform, we would involve the citizens of Kotor to become more involved in issues important to the city, environmental protection, waste management and preservation of cultural heritage. A special emphasis on Television Kotor would be on educational shows dealing with scientific research, topics such as health, safety, social issues," said Seferović.
