The bus driven by Nermin Abdić, the holder of the list of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in the local elections in Podgorica, will not be boarded by anyone except members of the DPS, because their intention is to stay away from the real problems of the citizens of Podgorica, the Coalition announced today. DPS announced yesterday that Abdić will drive on line L10 from Konik to Block VI in Podgorica today from 11 to 19 am.

"The candidate of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Nermin Abdić, rented a bus for his campaign in Podgorica, but with that he showed how far the DPS is from the real needs of the citizens of this city. Just as during their three decades of rule, they did not want to be with the citizens, even now they don't want to get on the city bus and hear what all those who love Podgorica have to say. DPS decided that Mr. Abdić will drive a rented bus and talk to the voters. But no one will get on that bus except members of DPS , because their intention is to stay away from the real problems of the citizens of Podgorica. Has anyone from DPS ever taken public transport? And now, as always, they show the skill of rising above the needs of ordinary people, acting like that they are a special class that needs special transportation, far from the everyday challenges that citizens face," the statement of the Coalition "For the future of Podgorica - the city of all of us" emphasizes.
They added that during the rule of the DPS, there was practically no public transport.
"Old and broken buses were a symbol of an inefficient system that DPS did not want to improve. Now, when they rent a bus for their campaign, they should remember Podgorica just a year ago - without reliable and functional public transport, with the city held hostage of their corrupt interests. While Mr. Abdić will drive a rented bus, the citizens of Podgorica can now use the blue and white buses that are reliable, clean and full of passengers. These are the buses that we introduced, this is public transportation as part of our vision of modernity and strong Podgorica. Perhaps, as a sign of gratitude, Mr. Abdić could catch one of the city transport lines, visit the director of 'Roads' and congratulate him on the results. He could be informed about our plan for the purchase of twenty electric buses drive silently through the streets of Podgorica, contributing to the reduction of pollution and creating a more modern European city," reads the statement of the Coalition "For the future of Podgorica - the city of all of us".
They said that they are not resting on what they have achieved.
"We will continue to develop city transport to make it as reliable and accurate as possible. Our goal is clear: reduce traffic congestion, reduce pollution and make Podgorica a city where life is beautiful, safe and efficient. In September, all citizens of Podgorica will be able to they drive free of charge in public transport. We bring concrete results. Our focus is not on rented buses, but on real solutions that improve the lives of every citizen," the announcement reads.
The coalition "For the future of Podgorica - the city of all of us" stated that the DPS showed how far it is from reality, distant from the citizens of Podgorica and their daily needs.
"Their bus campaign is nothing more than a symbol of their separation from real life in the city. Unlike them, we know what the citizens of Podgorica want. We are building the city of the future, a city for all of us. That's why we invite you to join our fight for a better, safer and cleaner Podgorica. Our vision is a city in which public transport works for everyone, in which citizens come first, and not political games that create insecurity and stop the progress of Podgorica. The coalition "For the future of Podgorica - the city of all of us" fight for a city that is worthy of all its citizens. Podgorica is not a campaign bus - Podgorica is our home, and together we will make it better," the statement concluded.
