I am quite optimistic that with the innovative approaches of us young people and the experience and wisdom of our older colleagues, we will achieve a lot in the next four-year mandate, said the candidate for councilor on the "European Union - Boris Mugoša (SDP, SD, LP and citizens) - Podgorica for example" list. Miloš Maskovic.
"In the previous year and a half, we were a responsible, serious and constructive opposition. All our actions in the local parliament and outside of it were aimed at pointing out irregularities and exposing the face of the outgoing city administration. And I will not be modest and say that I think that we did a very good job there and I think that the citizens of Podgorica are now aware of who worked in their interest and who neglected the needs of our city and fellow citizens", said Mašković at the presentation of the list and program of the European Union in Podgorica.
He is convinced, as he pointed out, that after September 29 the conditions will be met for the European Union to be part of the government.
"The outgoing government has shown that it is not up to managing the system of the capital, and we have shown that we are ready to run our city responsibly, transparently and in the interest of all citizens," Mašković said.
He added that he was pleased that they dealt with young people a lot through the program and really made sure to meet all their needs.
"I will tell you that we are planning to build an innovation center for young people, which will be an incubator for all young entrepreneurs and start-ups, where they will have the opportunity to develop their ideas and businesses right in our city. On the other hand, we will put a moratorium on the rental prices of markets and markets, where we will enable small entrepreneurs to strengthen their position in our society, and thus strengthen our local economy. We will also focus on those companies that deal with deficit occupations, so we will also offer subsidies for them," Mašković said.
According to him, the program includes things that will immediately affect the lives of our fellow citizens in the most positive possible way.
"We plan to introduce free transportation for pupils, students and pensioners. We are planning to double the amount of benefits for sub-tenants in the capital, whose situation is very bad at the moment. The fact is that our program is realistically achievable, everything that is written in our program can be achieved in the next four-year mandate", said Mašković.
He is sure, he adds, that Podgorica needs changes and changes for the better.
"That's why I invite you to help us make Podgorica an exemplary city on September 29," concluded Mašković.
