The highest inflation was during the government of the coalition partners of the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović in the upcoming elections in Podgorica, announced the Vice President of the Assembly and member of the Presidency of the Europe Now Movement (PES) Boris Pejović.
He said that Milatović provided zero investments and funds on the revenue side for the past year of his presidential mandate.
"I repeat - zero euros. Now he is asking that certain laws not be adopted, even though he knows that all of them must be adopted, including in the domain of tax reforms, in order to ensure the implementation of the Europe Now 2 program," the announcement states.
"So, President Milatović is simultaneously advocating for a better standard of citizens, and a concrete contribution equal to zero," added Pejović.
"When it comes to prices, the government limits margins, and the president again only introduces care," he said.
Milatović announced today that he will return to the Parliament for reconsideration the laws on VAT and excise taxes, as well as the Law on Mandatory Social Security.
