The functionary of New Serbian Democracy (Nova) Jovan Vučurović said that it would be correct for Jakov Milatović to resign from the position of president of the country, after, as he claims, "the collapse of the elections in Podgorica" of the list he leads..
"The nervousness of Jakov Milatović in the face of the electoral collapse that awaits him in the elections in Podgorica is understandable. However, it is not understandable that from the position of the President of Montenegro, day by day, he degrades himself politically with his statements and calls into question any credibility he has. The real question for it is up to him whether he will tighten his grip and have enough political morals to resign and leave the post of President of Montenegro when he experiences a fiasco in the capital city it was correct to actually confirm that situation," said Vučurović.
He also claims that Milatović "sent a message a long time ago that he is not the president of all citizens".
"And that he despises those who gave him support to become the head of state, unprovoked, to now enter into open collaboration with the DPS. Otherwise, he should stand up every time he mentions NSD and DNP, when he mentions the former DF. I'm not entering what prompted Milatović to cooperate with the DPS, with whom he overthrew the government in Podgorica, nor how much and what kind of benefit he got from it, but I know, and time has confirmed that, that those who were in a coalition with the DPS disappear from political scene," concluded Vučurović.
