This was said by the Vice President of the Government of Montenegro for Education, Science and Relations with Religious Communities Budimir Aleksić, who is on an interstate visit to Serbia, where he met with the Minister of Culture in the Government of Serbia, Nikola Selaković.

"On that occasion, Minister Selaković stated that language is the basis of every culture, and emphasized that 'Vuk's Serbian language is what unites Serbia and Montenegro and what the Serbian people are proud of.' He noted that the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia is open to cooperation at the institutional level with the launch of new initiatives in the field of theater art, inter-museum cooperation and curatorial activities, and introduced Aleksić to the large infrastructure projects that Serbia is planning in the field of culture as part of holding the Specialized International Exhibition Expo 2027 in Belgrade".
In the Government's platform proposal on Aleksić's participation in the bilateral meeting with Selaković, it is written that Montenegro and Serbia are developing traditionally good relations in the fields of culture, education, and science, and that this visit "will be an opportunity for the further development of those ties, as well as the good neighborly relations of the two countries." at all".
